This recipe consists of a can of tomato sauce and dried herbs. You could likely make it even better by using fresh or homegrown oregano, basil, garlic and onion. Either way, it’s still going to be easy to make. Just remember that homegrown items generally require more quantity to achieve the same level of flavor. But the sauce will definitely have a much higher level of freshness.
